ELLENSBURG - The Othello Huskies boys and girls teams dropped

4-1 and 3-2 decisions respectively on Thursday in Ellensburg.

The sole win for the boys came at No. 2 singles as Alec Montemayor

captured a tense, 7-6 (7-4) 6-3, win.

On the girls' side, the No. 1 doubles team of Emma Hymus and

Jocelyn Cantu secured a 6-1, 6-4 winning decision, while the No. 2

Lady Huskies doubles team of Amelia Roylance and Yanitta Cantu came

back to win 5-7, 6-4, 6-2.

"Our girls' one doubles cruised at it was by far best match as they kept Ellensburg on their heels with their serves," Othello head coach Robert Pruneda said. "Amelia and Yanitta started off slow but they made adjustments in position and serve to win."
