Shock finally get first win

SPOKANE - Quarterback Kyle Rowley completed 19 of 30 passes for 219 yards and seven touchdowns as the Spokane Shock defeated the Kansas City Command 61-34 for their first win of the season Friday night in Arena Football League play before 9,172 at the Spokane Arena.
Rowley found Shaun Kauleinamoku and Raul Vijil on touchdown passes of 30 and 4 yards as the Shock (1-3) opened a 17-6 lead after the first quarter.
Kansas City (0-3) quarterback JJ Raterink scored on a touchdown from 3 yards out before Spokane answered with 21 straight points to take a 38-12 halftime lead.
Emery Sammons had seven receptions for 79 yards and three touchdowns for Spokane, which has a bye next week and returns to action April 15 at Utah.
