Sweet Adelines place at competition
The Coeur d'Alene Sweet Adelines took home third place at the regional Sweet Adelines International chorus competition on Saturday in Spokane.
It was the first time in the 25-year history of the chorus they earned a medal.
The 16-member chorus, directed by Sally Wallace, "impressed the judges and appreciative audience with their energy and vocal skills," according to a press release.
The Coeur d'Alene Chorus is one of nine Sweet Adelines International choruses that participated in the Small Chorus division of the Northwest Pacific regional competition at the INB Performing Arts Center.
The Coeur d'Alene Chorus rehearses weekly on Mondays at the Assembly of God Church in Coeur d'Alene.
