NIC theater to present plays

The North Idaho College theater department will present "One Foote in Front of the Other," two one-act plays by Horton Foote April 13-16.
The plays, "The Dancers" and "The Actor," are light comedies about coming of age. Occurring between the 1930s and 1950s, both plays take place in the fictional town of Harrison, Texas, and share some of the same characters.
"The plays are funny, warm and charming," said NIC Theater Director Joe Jacoby.
The plays will be presented at 7:30 p.m. April 13, 14, 15 and 16 in NIC's Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center. They are appropriate for all audiences, yet Jacoby said younger children might not be entertained by the subject matter. Please do not bring infants as they can unintentionally disrupt performances.
The plays will be performed in the round, with the audience seated on the Schuler Performing Arts Center stage, so seating is limited to 99. "The Dancers" is directed by Rebecca McNeill and "The Actor" is directed by Jacoby. The event is free and open to the public.
