Aaron Rowand hit a game-winning single off the left-field wall with the bases loaded in the 12th inning and the San Francisco Giants celebrated raising the World Series flag with a 5-4 victory over the visiting St. Louis Cardinals on Friday.

Marlins 4, Astros 3: Chris Coghlan homered and drove in two runs, leading Florida at Houston.
Braves 6, Phillies 3: Chipper Jones hit a three-run double, leading host Atlanta past Philadelphia.
Cubs 7, Brewers 4: Jeff Baker had a homer among his four hits and drove in four runs, leading Chicago at Milwaukee.
Pirates 4, Rockies 3, 14 inn.: Jose Tabata's RBI double in the 14th lifted host Pittsburgh past Colorado.
Diamondbacks 13, Reds 2: At Phoenix, Ian Kennedy struck out nine in eight innings and Arizona routed Cincinnati.
