Arruda promoted to AVP
of Information Systems
Sherrie Arruda was recently promoted to assistant vice president of information systems in the information technology department at Numerica Credit Union.
Arruda has worked at Numerica for more than 15 years. She began her career at Numerica in financial services, and was most recently a manager in the information technology department.
In 2001, Arruda was honored as employee of the year and received Numerica's Bud Crump Award for service. She currently is an active volunteer in Numerica's community involvement committee and for the Holy Family Foundation.
Numerica Credit Union currently has more than 85,000 members throughout central and Eastern Washington and North Idaho and more than $1 billion in assets.
It offers a full line of financial products and services, including mortgages and business products.
Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in the state of Washington or the Idaho Panhandle.
kNIFVES presenting
workshop on April 23
The Northwest Independent Film, Video and Entertainment Society is presenting a workshop titled "How to Sell Your Entertainment Concept."
The presenter at the April 23 workshop is Dale Stevens of Five X Five Media. The society, which calls itself kNIFVES, says the workshop will cost $35 for members and students, and $40 for non-members.
The Saturday event will be held at The Coeur d'Alene Resort, Dockside Restaurant, Cabin 4. It will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be complimentary parking with validation.

Holistic Fair is April 16 at the Harding Family Center
The second Holistic Fair will be Saturday, April 16, at the Harding Family Center, at 411 N. 15th St., Coeur d'Alene.
Admission is free to the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be speakers throughout the day.
The event is organized by the Coeur d'Alene Holistic Chamber of Commerce.
