CLE ELUM - One of the better Class 1A teams, Cle Elum, exerted its strong pitching prowess in a double shutout of the Royal Lady Knights on Tuesday.

Cle Elum recorded a 13-0, 10-0 sweep of Royal, holding the Lady Knights to one total hit over the two games.

Stefhany Guadarrama recorded the only hit for Royal, a single in game one.

Royal committed 10 errors in both games combined.

"We will be looking to make some adjustments in the field and work harder in the field and work harder on our hitting before we get into the heart of the league schedule," Royal head coach Pete Christensen said of his team's play in the South Central Athletic Conference East which will continue this weekend.
