Devils tennis teams drop two to Entiat

WILSON CREEK - A strong Entiat tennis squad made its way past both the boys and girls tennis teams from Wilson Creek yesterday.
The host Devils fell on the boys' side 4-0 while in the girls' dual, Wilson Creek dropped a close 3-2 decision.
Winning matches for Wilson Creek was Carolin Kiesl at No. 1 singles as she cruised to a convincing 8-0 win.
Kiesl then joined forces with Brandi Bonnell as the two teamed up for a dramatic 9-7 victory.
The Devils dropped two competitive 8-4 decisions at No. 2 (Bonnell) and 3 singles (Ziba Atak) and lost 8-3 at No. 3 (Dowers and Atak) doubles to drop the team match.
The previous day the girls defeated Lake Roosevelt with a 3-1 road victory.
Kiesl cruised at No. 1 singles in a 6-0, 6-0 rout and Bonnell won 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles to jump start the Devils' cause.
Kiesl then joined up with Samantha Dowers as the two won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
The boys squad was beaten by their hosts 4-0.
