Grant County tax statements mailed
STAFF REPORT | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 13 years, 12 months AGO
EPHRATA - Grant County residents should be receiving their tax statements for 2011 real, personal and manufactured homes.
Treasurer Darryl Pheasant stated the statements were mailed, and the office is presently working on sending corrected statements out for senior citizens with a full-exemption on their taxes, had their property values change or paid taxes before they became due.
The announcement came after delays with new software purchased by the office.
People should check their records to make sure all the parcels they want to pay on are on the statement, Pheasant advised.
The first half or full payment is due by May 2, and people should mail in the left coupon of the statement if they are paying by mail. For more than one parcel, people can send in a single check for the total amount.
For more information, contact the treasurer's office at 509-754-2011.
