White joins Razor's Edge Training Center
Kelly White, a certified personal trainer, has joined Razor's Edge Training Center and Boot Camp Academy, owner John Caylor said.
He said the 49-year-old White is in the best shape of her life and will help people lose weight, build lean muscle, and re-shape.
Razor's Edge is at 5648 N. Government Way, in Dalton Gardens.

Insurance Northwest offers AARP insurance program
The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. announced it is making its AARP-branded auto insurance program available through Insurance Northwest, in Coeur d'Alene.
Insurance Northwest, located at 2320 N. Government Way, was chosen after satisfying eligibility requirements, which includes completing a training program designed to highlight the needs of the 50 and older population.
Insurance Northwest has been serving Kootenai County for more than 12 years.
The Hartford, a Fortune 500 company, is an insurance-based financial services company that serves households, businesses and employees. AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that helps people age 50 and older.

Matthews selected for
management program
Shelly Matthews, principal for Lutheran Academy of the Master in Coeur d'Alene, has been selected by the Van Lunen Center for Executive Management in Christian Schools at Calvin College for a 2011-2012 fellowship.
The Fellows program is designed for school heads who seek professional development in their work as administrators of faith-based schools.
The majority of participant expenses are covered by Van Lunen, including cost of instruction, travel, lodging, meals, coaching and access to topic experts.
Lone Wolf Harley-Davidson receives excellence award
Lone Wolf Harley-Davidson, of Coeur d'Alene, was awarded Harley-Davidson Motor Co.'s Gold Bar and Shield Circle of Excellence Award for the 2010 calendar year.
This award is given to the top four Harley-Davidson dealerships in the west region.
Lone Wolf earned the award based on its sales performance on motorcycles and related products, an evaluation of customer service and satisfaction, and various operational measures.
"One of the primary reasons the Harley-Davidson brand has such tremendous customer loyalty is because of the efforts of dealers such as Beth and Greg Ernst," said Mike Kennedy, Harley-Davidson's vice president of North American sales. "We're really proud to have the Lone Wolf staff as part of the Harley-Davidson family."
Lone Wolf Harley-Davidson, 722 W. Appleway, has been in business in the Coeur d'Alene area since May 2008. In 2009, the dealership earned the Bronze Bar and Shield Award.

Arruda promoted to AVP
of Information Systems
Sherrie Arruda was recently promoted to assistant vice president of information systems in the information technology department at Numerica Credit Union.
Arruda has worked at Numerica for more than 15 years. She began her career at Numerica in financial services, and was most recently a manager in the information technology department.
In 2001, Arruda was honored as employee of the year and received Numerica's Bud Crump Award for service. She currently is an active volunteer in Numerica's community involvement committee and for the Holy Family Foundation.
Numerica Credit Union currently has more than 85,000 members throughout central and Eastern Washington and North Idaho and more than $1 billion in assets.
It offers a full line of financial products and services, including mortgages and business products.
Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in the state of Washington or the Idaho Panhandle.
kNIFVES presenting
workshop on April 23
The Northwest Independent Film, Video and Entertainment Society is presenting a workshop titled "How to Sell Your Entertainment Concept."
The presenter at the April 23 workshop is Dale Stevens of Five X Five Media. The society, which calls itself kNIFVES, says the workshop will cost $35 for members and students, and $40 for non-members.
The Saturday event will be held at The Coeur d'Alene Resort, Dockside Restaurant, Cabin 4. It will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be complimentary parking with validation.

Holistic Fair is April 16 at the Harding Family Center
The second Holistic Fair will be Saturday, April 16, at the Harding Family Center, at 411 N. 15th St., Coeur d'Alene.
Admission is free to the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be speakers throughout the day.
The event is organized by the Coeur d'Alene Holistic Chamber of Commerce.
