WAPATO - Coming off a big upset of Quincy in their Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) opener, the Wapato Wolves appeared to be a team to reckon with as the Othello Huskies arrived in town on Tuesday night.

However, the only thing Wapato ended up reckoning that Othello was the big kind on the field this day.

An early Jose Ramirez goal set the tone for Othello, which would pull away for a 3-1 win and move to 3-0 in the CWAC and 7-3 overall.

Othello led 1-0 going into halftime on Ramirez's second minute goal and saw Wapato even things up midway through the second half.

But, the Huskies wouldn't allow Wapato (2-6-2, 1-2) to enjoy themselves for long as Esual Hermasillo's strike three minutes later put Othello up to stay.

Ivan Lopez cemented the win with a 78th minute goal.

Martel Saucedo made five saves in goal.
