WARDEN - Warden moved to 8-1 overall with a 5-3 non-league win over River View on Tuesday.

Warden's pitching held their guests to two hit and won behind a two-run fifth inning that broke open a 3-3 game.

Anthony Platas pitched for the win while Jacob Yamane earned the save.

"I was very happy with the way our guys competed," Warden head coach Dan Caballero said. " Once we stop making some mental errors we will be that much better."
