Quincy Jacks tennis team wins first dual meet

TOPPENISH - Led by strong singles play, the Quincy Jacks won their first dual meet of the year with a 3-2 CWAC win at Toppenish.

The boys were led by Garrett VanDyke's 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 1 singles and the 6-2, 6-0 win by No. 2 Samuel Gregg.

Quincy then clinched the win with a victory at No. 3 doubles by Miguel Tapia and Sonny Fregoso as they won 7-6 (7), 6-1,

In the girls' meet between the two schools, Quincy fell 4-1.

No. 1 singles player Ciara Rasmussen won the only match for the Lady Jacks, taking a 6-4, 6-3 decision.
