Warden Cougars soccer team rout Liberty Bell 18-0

WARDEN - A bombardment of shots led to a Warden Cougars 18-0 rout of Liberty Bell yesterday.

Warden led 7-0 at halftime and then continued the onslaught with almost a dozen tallies in a 35-minute span.

Hector Camacho scored five goals to lead Warden and Elias Valencia added four scores himself to set the offensive pace.

Oswaldo Ramirez and Osbaldo Alba each had two goals while a total of nine Cougars (4-2) got on the score sheet.

"The team played well the entire game," Warden head coach Ed Aguilar said. "Jesus Range, Alex Barajas ,Fernando Landeros and Arturo Dominguez played a very strong defense. I hope we can keep the same momentum for next Thursday's game against Bridgeport."
