A 16-year-old girl was found dead at her Conrad Drive home Thursday morning after an apparent epileptic episode.

Glacier High School implemented its crisis response plan and was offering counseling services to students after news of the sophomore student’s death, according to Principal Callie Langohr.

Aliesha Kefauver was found unresponsive at about 6:27 a.m. and was later pronounced dead by a Flathead County Sheriff’s Office coroner.

An autopsy has been scheduled, but Sheriff Chuck Curry said the death is not considered suspicious. He said she likely died in her sleep after suffering a seizure.
