BUDGET: It goes back to Bush era

In response to Janice Shay's April 13 item Budget: Motive murky as ever, I wonder why she left out President Bush ("W") and the righties because under their type of patriotism borrowed to fund three wars and that complicated Medicare Part D from China off the books to name a few along with tax cuts for the richest and corporations than the trillion or so given to Wall Street, the banks and AIG with no oversight.
Ms. Janice should be asking "What was in it for them" and "Why are they blaming the Democrats since the Republicans dumped the whole mess on to President Obama's lap and want it fixed right now." Bush inherited a surplus and after eight years forced the country into record debt then walked away.
The only enlightened answer to her question should be to ask as a question: Why weren't the Republicans worried about the budget during the Bush administration? Especially the last four years?
