Music school thanks
Toby Scott | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 13 years, 9 months AGO
On behalf of myself and the North
Valley Music School, I would like to thank Don K, Subaru, and John
Simpson for their efforts in sponsoring and presenting the Pearl
Django show at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course restaurant on April
8. Thanks also to Doug Reed, Vicki Hill and the staff at the
restaurant for providing a wonderful location and as always, great
food and atmosphere. The school benefited with a nice donation
check from all those attending and we will continue to work with
Don K and John to bring similar events to the Whitefish area. This
sort of support and sponsorship help to provide funds needed for
music education by North Valley Music School. We are the only
non-profit music school in Montana and depend on public support to
maintain and grow. If you have fundraising ideas or donations,
please contact us at 862-8074, or our website:
www.northvalleymusicschool.org. Thank you again for your
support.

I enjoyed reading the article about dedicating the new soccer field to the late Gary Elliot. It is a very appropriate recognition of his efforts and support of the community.
Wants forward-looking school board
The Whitefish School District Board of Trustees is comprised of seven citizens elected to represent the community in setting district policies, adopting the budget, placing tax levies and bond issues on the ballot, hiring personnel including the superintendent, and for providing the necessary facilities for the education of our community's youth.
