OROVILLE - Behind a strong first half and an almost equally as solid second 40 minutes, the Warden Cougars routed hosts Oroville, 9-0 on Tuesday in North Central Washington 2B play.

Warden (6-5, 5-2) led 5-0 at halftime and kept up the pace in the second half as they ended up outshooting Oroville 16-6.

Scoring for Warden were Carlos Gomez who knocked in four goals including a first half hat trick, Carlos Figueroa and his first half brace while Elias Valencia also scored two goals, with both coming after halftime, and one strike by Ricardo Araujo.
