Troupe de Wolfe to offer 'Little Women' at LCHS

"Little Women" by Troupe de Wolfe Productions opens Wednesday and runs through Saturday at Lake City High School.
Directed by alumni Daniel Bell, the play is based on the tale by Louisa May Alcott.
"Audiences will enjoy this timeless and enduring classic about the March sisters' journey from childhood to maturity during the American Civil War," according to a press release.
Performances will be in the Blue Room (Room B-11) at 7 each night. Tickets are $10 general admission and include dessert and a show.
Reserved tickets may be purchased from Sandy Seaton in Room B-11. Due to the limited number of seats, purchases will need to be made in advance.
Audiences of all generations will enjoy acquainting-or reacquainting - themselves with the sisters.
The family includes: Meg, the eldest; Jo, the high spirited tomboy Amy, the self-centered beauty; and gentle Beth, as well as their beloved Marmee and Father.
"Together the March family learns to endure both the good times and bad as they share the joys and pains of growing up," the release said.
The play is interlaced with warmth, family loyalty, and traditional values, as these important events provide us with a better understanding of our own lives.
The cast includes Taylor Chavez as Meg; Katharine Cheevers as Jo; Sarah Bruch as Beth; Emily Irvin as Amy; Dina Williams as Hannah; Jaki Whitmore as Marmee; Natalie Mitchell as Aunt March; Conner Ealy as Theodore Laurence; Jon Wenger as Mr. Laurence; Matthew Revis as John Brooke and Jonathan Rider as Mr. March.
