Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on July 5, 2011 from ConocoPhillips Company (Designated Contact: Larry Ostwald, 3180 Highway 12 East, Helena, MT 59601, 406-441-4746) were found to be technically complete on July 7, 2011. PROJECT: A Conditional Use Permit and SEPA Checklist to enable the expansion of an existing Bulk Fuel Storage Facility on an approximately 15.50-acre parcel in the Rural Residential 1 zoning district of Grant County. Expansion will include the installation of one 10,000-barrel ethanol storage tank, a truck unloading area, a new concrete drive, gate, and fence for the unloading area, and installation of piping from the new storage tank to an existing truck loading rack. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Building Permits. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address of the existing facility is 6864 Stratford Rd. NE, Moses Lake, WA. The subject parcel is located approximately 3 miles north of the intersection of State Highway 17 and Stratford Rd. NE, near the intersection of Rd. 7 NE and Stratford Rd. NE, and in the NE quarter of Section 34, Township 20 North, Range 28 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #19-0320-000). ZONING: Rural Residential 1. PUBLIC HEARING: Hearing Examiner meeting tentatively scheduled at 12:00 noon, September 14, 2011, in Commissioners' Hearing Room of Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA.
