Downtown offers plenty to do

COEUR d'ALENE - Look out, lovers of arts, crafts and food, too.

The 43rd annual Art on the Green starts Friday, and it will be accompanied by the Downtown Street Fair as well as the Taste of the Coeur d'Alenes.

The Street Fair will be on Sherman Avenue, the Taste of the Coeur d'Alenes will be at City Park, and Art on the Green will be at the old Fort Sherman Grounds at North Idaho College.

All three events are within walking distance of each other. A free shuttle bus service will also be available.

The Street Fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 to 5 Sunday.

Art on the Green will go from noon to 7:30 p.m. Friday, 10 to 7:30 Saturday and 10 to 5 Sunday.

The Taste of the Coeur d'Alenes runs 10 to 8:30 Friday and Saturday and 10 to 6 Sunday.

Each event will have its own entertainment along with the food and booths.
