Suspects indicted in DEA drug case

MOSES LAKE - Suspects netted by a major federal drug investigation made their initial court appearances in U.S. District Court in Spokane.
The suspects were indicted by a federal grand jury July 23 with conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and five kilograms or more of cocaine, distribution of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute.
The suspects were arrested July 21 when the DEA carried out 24 federal search warrants in Moses Lake, Royal City, Othello, Pasco, Desert Aire, Cheney, Connell and Spokane.
The DEA declined to detail how many homes were raided in Grant County cities, how many people were arrested in Grant County or how much drugs they found.
The alleged drug crimes occurred between January 2010 and July 2011, according to court documents.
The indictment lists the following 20 names: Flavio Ramos-Chaidez, Hilario Garcia-Moreno, Jr., Jazmin Acosta-Beltran, Cruz Mendoza, Israel Benjamin Wright, Jacqueline Ramos, Alex Villanueva-Garcia, Luis Cerna, Felix Ruben Rodriguez, Cody Lee Poole, Cruz Rangel, Caleb Vanden Dormaier, Nelson Perez, Gabriel Santiago Medina, Dusty Blue Zarate, Heath Wisdom, Sandra Duffy, Jesus Enrique Meza-Valdez, Jayro Alvarez-Farias and Elizabeth Arroyo-Toro.
The names of the others arrested were not listed, and hometowns and ages of the suspects were not available.
