The recent letter by Phil Membury exemplifies all that is wrong with intelligent thinking and discussion of an issue. Childish name calling and berating of those with an opinion different than yours solves nothing other than to make you look foolish. Whatever an individual's views on issues, the way to solve problems is through calm, rational and thoughtful discourse. I encourage you to educate yourself in order to express yourself in civil and helpful ways. You may also learn something about what is really right and wrong in this country.
