Rapalli-Moratorio

Carlina Rapalli and Guille Moratorio were married May 21, 2011, on Trunk Bay Beach, USVI.

Carlina is the daughter of Bob and Cathryn Rapalli of Hauser. Guille is the son of Mario Moratorio of Fairfield, Calif., and Trish Suddell of London, England.

The couple honeymooned in the Virgin Islands and are currently residing in Carlsbad, Calif.

Moore-Williams-Jerald

Wendi Moore-Williams and Tony Jerald were married July 23, 2011, at their home on Lake Coeur d'Alene, in Post Falls.

It was a beautiful wedding on the water just before sunset with the water and mountains as a backdrop. The flower girls were Madison Williams and Aleena Jerald.

The couple had a private and intimate ceremony with only immediate family members invited. There was a reception following the wedding in their home where everyone enjoyed cake and champagne before the newlyweds left for a brief honeymoon.

Rory Renee Kromer was born at 5:05 p.m. July 23, 2011, to Renee and Joseph Kromer of Osburn. She weighed 9 lbs. 1 oz. and was 21 inches long. Sister is Kendall. Brother is Travis. Maternal grandparents are Suzanne Connor and Marty Sleezer.

Katherine Julie MacPhee was born at 6:19 p.m. July 7, 201, to Teresa and Scott MacPhee of Coeur d'Alene. She weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19 inches long. Brother is John Angus MacPhee. Maternal grandmother is Julie Dahlgren. Paternal grandparents are John and Carol MacPhee.

Mya Nicole Hubof was born July 22, 2011, to Amanda (Broadbent) and Nicholas Hubof of Boise, at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise. Grandparents are Frank Hubof and Kathy McIntire of Post Falls, Linda and John Dobberthien of Hayden, Jack Hawkins of Post Falls and Bettye and John Broadbent of Hopkinsville, Ky. Great-mother is Melvina Hubof of Dalton Gardens.

Aiden Allen Hanning was born at 12:26 p.m. July 21, 2011, to Tara Kay Martinson and Kyle Allen Hanning of Post Falls. He weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20.75 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Terry and Sandy Martinson. Paternal grandparents are Mark Hanning and Colleen Flaherty.

Taven Honor Roetcisoender was born at 7:37 p.m. July 6, 2011, to Sidney and Willie Roetcisoender of Athol. He weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Angie and Randy Hammond. Paternal grandparents are Brenda and Craig Roetcisoender.

Sophia Gene Chavez was born at 6:31 p.m. July 18, 2011, to Amber Flinn and Eugene Chavez of Post Falls. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Richard Flinn, Caren and Larry Gasterly. Paternal grandparents are Eugene Chavez Sr., and Connie and Paul Pitman.

MILITARY

Air Force Lt. Col. John C. Notter has assumed command of the Provincial Reconstruction Team Nangarhar in Afghanistan.

Notter regularly serves as director of Headquarters Air Force Management Policy at The Pentagon. The lieutenant colonel has served in the military for 29 years.

He is the son of Dorothea M. Notter of Coeur d'Alene.

His wife, Donna, is the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth C. Baker of Arlington, Va.

Notter graduated in 1979 from Coeur d'Alene High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989 from Peru State College, Neb. He earned a master of arts degree in 2004 from American Intercontinental University Online, Chicago, Ill.
