Isabel Menge, 85

Isabel Menge, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at Coeur d'Alene Homes. She was born Dec. 13, 1925, in Berg, N.D., to Ernest and Irene Pittsley. She married Oscar Menge on Nov. 5, 1949, in Elko, Nev.
They raised five daughters, Linda Aubert of Colville, Wash., Debbie King of Coeur d'Alene, Peggy (husband Paul) Bergeson of Prescott, Ariz., Patricia (husband Mike) Seymour of Port Angeles, Wash., and Shannon (Tim) Quiroz of Tacoma, Wash. She will be lovingly missed by 11 grandchildren (Doug, Tracy, Lori Kay, Michelle, Corie, Justin, Keith, Nicholas, Melissa and Ben); 17 great-grandchildren (Abby, Madison, Lily, Jacob, Angela, Shyla, Sade, Emily, Christian, Hayden, Alyssa, Kyla, Keera, Jada, Myles and Armani; three sisters (Violet, Mabel and Doris); three brothers (Arlo, Dale, Glenn); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Isabel was a lifelong member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and was employed by Kootenai Medical Center for 43 years. Isabel's greatest love was spending time with her family, reading, gardening and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Irene Pittsley; her husband of 61 years; along with one granddaughter (Jeni); one great-granddaughter (Kiya); one sister (Phyllis) and three brothers (Robert, Ernest and Neil).

Graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 7315 N. Government Way.
