The attached chart listing pay scales for Flathead Valley Community College is part of an ongoing series by the Daily Inter Lake on public-sector pay.
Faculty contracts are paid for the nine-month academic year.
The college offers other benefits:
• Health and dental insurance benefits are provided to faculty and staffers.
• All regular employees (faculty and staff) participate in either the Montana Teachers Retirement System or Montana Public Employee Retirement System. FVCC contributes approximately 7 percent of salary toward these plans.
• FVCC does not participate in Social Security.
• The college sponsors a voluntary 403(b) retirement savings plan that allows employees to receive an employer match of voluntary contributions up to 7 percent of salary.
