Donald M. Rowe “Mark,” 46, resident of Rathdrum, passed away suddenly on Aug. 11, 2011. Born to Barbara Schubert on Oct. 2, 1964, in Santa Rosa, Calif.
He attended school in Santa Rosa and graduated from Piner High School in 1982. He married Patty Polston in May 1987. They lived in Alaska (their big adventure) for eight years before moving to Rathdrum in 1998 to raise their family.
Mark was very involved with his children’s sport activities, their 4-H projects, cooking, gardening, fishing and a cheerful presence in his community. He was a hard worker with a huge heart and was ready to help anyone in need no matter what it was. Mark will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Survived by his wife, Patty Rowe of Rathdrum; son John Rowe of Coeur d’Alene; daughter Miranda Rowe of Rathdrum; mother Barbara Schubert and sister Tami Frye of Santa Rosa, Calif. Mark is also survived by his mother-in-law, Louise Polston of Rathdrum and his father-in-law, Dave Polston of West Plains, Mo.; his aunt, Carolyn Schubert; uncles Frank and Larry Schubert; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and good ole’ Bekki.
He was preceded in death by his uncles Steven M. and Daniel J. Schubert and his grandpa John Bautista Schubert.
Memorial viewing and service to be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, with a luncheon to follow. Private graveside service after lunch at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens for immediate family only.
