Man dies in traffic crash

The victim of a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash late Saturday night on Juanita Way in Kalispell has been identified.
William L. “Bill” McMannamy, a 41-year-old resident of Kalispell, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the crash was reported at 11:43 p.m. Saturday.
McMannamy, who was not wearing a seat belt, died as a result of trauma to his head, according to a coroner with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.
He was driving the vehicle at the time. A passenger was treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
The fatality was the 16th this year in the Kalispell District of the Montana Highway Patrol, which includes Flathead, Lincoln and Lake counties.
There were 21 such fatalities in 2010 and 26 in 2009, according to the highway patrol.
There have been 107 traffic fatalities on Montana roads this year.
