Libby, Mont. – Road reconditioning and resurfacing is scheduled to begin on the Libby Creek road 231, between milepost 11 and milepost 7 at the junction with Road 643, Teeters Mountain, on the West Fisher River road. The reconditioning work is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 22 and last approximately 3-1/2 weeks.

The road will generally be open, but expect intermittent delays during the reconditioning. Road aggregate hauling is tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, August 29 from the Forest Service Little Cherry gravel pit.

Drivers are cautioned to expect delays, and dusty and dry road conditions call for reduced speeds on forest roads.

For more information call Libby District at 293-7773.
