Rod Clugston receives the Ted Jones Memorial Award
Edward Jones financial adviser Rod Clugston of Coeur d'Alene recently received the Ted Jones Memorial Award for his outstanding service efforts over the past year.
Only 279 of the firm's more than 12,000 financial advisors received the Ted Jones Memorial award.
"When you work for a firm that is known for its outstanding service," Clugston said, "it's quite an honor to be singled out for your service record."
James D. Weddle, Edward Jones' managing partner, added, "Rod is an outstanding member of the Edward Jones team who personifies the ideal financial advisor, someone who is 100 percent dedicated to serving the financial needs of his clients. I am very pleased to present this well-deserved award."
Edward Jones provides financial services for individual investors in the United States and, through its affiliate, in Canada.
Stratford receives safety award
Maloney & O'Neill Insurance Agency, a Liberty Northwest appointed independent agency, recently presented the Liberty Northwest Silver Safety Award to its client, Stratford Building Corporation based in Coeur d'Alene.
Stratford Building Corporation has not incurred a lost time injury since May 2006. The Liberty Northwest Silver Safety Award recognizes workers' compensation policyholders that demonstrate exceptional safety performance by not incurring a lost time accident in a period of five years.
Tom Gorman, Partner, Maloney & O' Neill Insurance presented the Liberty Northwest Silver Safety Award to Andy Ponder, Production Manager, Stratford Building Corporation.
Maurices' moves to Silver Lake Plaza
A nationwide clothing store for young women announced plans to relocate the Maurices' store at Silver Lakes Mall in Coeur d'Alene.
Maurices' fashion attitude will appear in force when the new store opens at 291 W. Canfield Avenue at the Silver Lake Plaza.
The store will continue to be open for business while the new location is under construction.
The new 4,966-square-footage store will grand open in October 2011.
"We look for the best opportunity in each market," said Mark Sutton, senior vice president. "The new development in the area we are moving into looked like the perfect opportunity to continue to reach Maurices' target customer and continued success of our business.
"Although we are disappointed to leave our current location, we are very excited about opening a brand new store that will offer our customers an exciting new fresh decor and design that is easy and fun to shop," said Store Manager Rebekah Lange.
Four agents added at Keller Williams
Keller Williams Realty Coeur d'Alene Market Center has added four more real estate agents.
Joe Rosen, Greg Link, Kelly Thiel and Jeff Spencer are now members of the center at 1450 Northwest Blvd, Suite 301.
Rosen has an extensive background in residential, commercial and any type of investment properties and has been in the real estate industry for over 25 years.
Link has an background in real estate and has been in the industry for four years.
Spencer has background in buying and selling real estate in North Idaho and has been in the real estate industry for 2 years
Thiel has been in the real estate industry for eight years.
The Coeur d'Alene Market Center was established in 2004 and has 128 associates.
