TAXES: Increases hurt kids, too

"I don't want to increase taxes, but we have to be reasonable and honest with ourselves and honest with the future," council member Skip Hissong said. "I have to support some sort of increase so we don't dump it all on the kids." August 17 CDA Press.
I'm sure the parents of said kids would be surprised to know they are actually better off when the city is enriched at their expense. Apparently Skip is blind to what's going on in the private sector. His world shouldn't share in that burden but just take even more from already struggling families. . . for the kids, of course.
