A repaving project on U.S. 93 South is

scheduled to start today, Aug. 24 and last until Sept. 2. The

milling and paving work will begin near Happy Valley and end near

the Pizza Hut.

Work will continue 24 hours a day to

minimize traffic disruption and to allow better access to

businesses on the commerce strip. Access to North Valley Hospital

and all businesses will be maintained during their normal business

hours.

Project contractor Knife River says the

milling work — which is nosier than paving — will happen during

normal work hours. Paving work will be completed between 10 p.m.

and 6 a.m.
