COULEE CITY - Two people were injured in a crash on state Route 17, about 7 miles North of Coulee City.

Michelle Hemmer, 45, Mansfield, was driving a 2006 Ford F-350 truck north on SR 17 Thursday just before 10 p.m. when she allegedly lost control of the vehicle on ice and rolled, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Hemmer was reportedly injured and transported by ambulance to Coulee Medical Center, as was her passenger, James L. Hemmer, 46, Mansfield.

The cause of the crash was reportedly traveling too fast for conditions, according to the Washington State Patrol, and no charges are anticipated at this time.
