Sweet Adelines to debut new quartet

The Coeur d'Alene Chorus of Sweet Adelines is adding a little spice to its fourth annual "Caroling of the Belles."
Blended Spice, a new quartet, will debut this holiday season at the First Presbyterian Church, 521 Lakeside Ave. from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday.
Complimenting the program will be the personalities and voices of the Lake City Harmonizers, under the direction of Ron Reed.
Canto de' Sorensen will be returning to, once again, charm the listeners. This singing group of fourth- through sixth-grade boys and girls from Sorensen Magnet School is under the direction of Charlene Babb.
"Summer Theatre fans will remember the Sweet Adelines as the nuns in the Sound of Music," according to a press release. "Gone are those black and white habits, replaced by the beautiful Victorian costumes of the era."
The Coeur d'Alene Chorus of Sweet Adelines Christmas concert will be directed by Sally Wallace.
Tickets are $5 at the door. Donations of non-perishable goods are welcome.
