Chiefs fall at Calgary in OT

CALGARY, Alberta - Victor Rask scored 2:26 into overtime as the Calgary Hitmen beat the Spokane Chiefs 3-2 in a Western Hockey League game Friday night before 8,317 at the Saddledome.

Rask scored his first goal of the night to give Calgary a 1-0 lead after the first period.

Alex Gogolev scored on an assist from Brock Sutherland to extend the Calgary advantage to 2-0 after the second.

Brenden Kitchton scored his second power- play goal in as many games on an assist from Steve Kuhn to pull Spokane within 2-1. Darren Kramer scored on an assist from Mike Aviani to tie the game at 2-all.

Luke Lee-Knight had 27 saves for Spokane (12-8-2-2, 27 points), which continues its five-game road trip tonight at 6:30 at Medicine Hat.

Spokane falls to 1-5-2-2 on the road.
