DAVIS, Calif. - Freshman Connor Hill, the former Post Falls High standout playing in just his fourth college game, hit five 3-pointers and scored 17 points off the bench as Idaho's men's basketball team rolled to a 94-74 victory over UC Davis on Saturday.

Hill was 6 of 8 from the field, 5 of 6 from 3-point range in just 12 minutes for Idaho (4-3).

The Vandals shot a season-high 56.1 percent from the field, connecting on 32 of 57 shots, including 12 of 20 3-pointers. Idaho finished with a season-high 24 assists and a season-low 10 turnovers.

"It was a good win for us. We shot the ball extremely well," Idaho coach Don Verlin said. "We got rolling, Landon (Tatum) did a good job of getting the ball to the right people. This was our best executed game to this point. When you have 24 assists and 10 turnovers you played pretty well offensively."

Kyle Barone had 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting and added four rebounds. Dazmond Starke had a career-high nine points on 4-of-6 shooting, and also had six rebounds and two assists.

Idaho led by as much as 22 points, and was up 54-34 with 15 1/2 minutes left. Davis cut it to 66-56 with under 12 minutes left but the Vandals answered with a 12-3 run.
