POLSON — Local authorities responded to a report of a stabbing last Friday night at the Wolf Den in downtown Polson. The injuries to the victim were not life threatening, although he was taken to St. Joseph’s Medical Center for treatment.

At 11:15 on Friday night, Polson Police received a call that there had been a scuffle at the Wolf Den and the front door had been broken out and an individual had been stabbed. When authorities arrived, the victim ran from police but was later apprehended.

While the victim gave a description of the suspect, he said he would not be pressing charges in the matter.

“We’re still following up on it and we have a few leads,” Polson’s acting Police Chief John Stevens said. “But it’s hard when the victim isn’t working with you.”

Tribal Police and the Lake County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the scene.

You’ll have to excuse me for stating the obvious, I’m assuming everyone in Polson already knows this but Neal Lewing is one heck of an actor. I was first able to see the Port Polson player as Judge Turpin in the production of Sweeney Todd last November.
