BASKETBALL: Polson boys ranked second in NWA coaches poll

Polson got one first-place vote and is four points behind

C-Falls in the first coaches poll for the Northwest A League in

boys' basketball. The Pirates were a point ahead of Whitefish while

Libby and Frenchtown rounded out the poll.

Polson got one first-place vote and is four points behind C-Falls in the first coaches poll for the Northwest A League in boys' basketball. The Pirates were a point ahead of Whitefish while Libby and Frenchtown rounded out the poll.

In the state rankings, C-Falls was again No. 1, while Polson was No. 3. Whitefish was No. 7 in the poll, showing quite a bit of depth in the Northwestern A conference.

Polson is currently playing at the tip-off tournament in C-Falls and Whitefish this weekend.

You’ll have to excuse me for stating the obvious, I’m assuming everyone in Polson already knows this but Neal Lewing is one heck of an actor. I was first able to see the Port Polson player as Judge Turpin in the production of Sweeney Todd last November.
