Roy Stanley Seekins, 76, of Libby was called to his eternal home on Nov. 30, 2011.
Roy was born on Nov. 7, 1935, in Forsyth, Mont., to Raymond L. and Helen A. Seekins. He spent most of his childhood in and around Forsyth.
He married Sharon Mortensen on Feb.16, 1959.
Roy drove an over-the-road truck for seven years and in 1966 he and Sharon moved to Libby where he went to work for J. Neils Lumber Co. at the sawmill.
He worked as a saw filer and a forklift operator during his years with J. Neils.
In 2002, they moved to Tucson, Ariz. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Seekins and three children, Yvonne Dianne (Shane) Hirschkorn of Tucson, Ariz., Geraldine Helen (Milton) Miller of San Antonio, Texas, and Donald Ray Seekins of Greenville, S.C.
Roy is also survived by six grandchildren, Darian, Kameria, and Sharon Flowers of San Antonio, Echo Seekins of Grandview, Texas, and Gaven and Ian Hirschkorn of Tucson, Ariz.
Roy was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.
Services will be held in Tucson, Arizona.
