Rose Crossley

Rose Elaine Estelle (Hed) Neal Crossley, of Ephrata and formerly of Quincy passed on December 8th following a brief illness.

She was born on December 21, 1925 to Harry W. and Hilma A. (Erickson) Hed in St. Peter, Minnesota.

She married Paul Luvern Neal on November 9, 1947, they had six children, Harry Neal of Orondo, Hal (Su) Neal of Wenatchee, Linda (Frank) Ray of Ephrata, Debbie Umbarger of Dryden, Patricia Neal of Wenatchee and Kathy (Alejo) Gutierrez of Ephrata. She also had twelve grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

She was married briefly to Glen Crossley.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Neal and Glen Crossley and 2 great-grandsons, Logan Mort and James Darrow Jr.

Rose was a devoted mother and grandmother; she enjoyed baking, crocheting, sewing and gardening. She will be greatly missed.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
