cruised to a pair of lopsided wins to open the season.

On Friday, Dec. 9, Charlo moved to 1-0 with a convincing 58 16 win over Darby. Rachel Hoyt herself outscored Darby, dropping 18 points, while Kinley Pope and Dawn Blevins reached double-digits with 14 and 10 respectively. Jordan Ludeman added eight points, Hayley Berkram five and Deondra Brown three, as the Lady Vikings outscored Darby by at least seven points in each quarter.

On Saturday, Charlo got points from nine different players as they blitzed the host Lady Pirates 57-20. By halftime, the Lady Vikings had built a comfortable 25-8 edge and held Victor to four points in three of the four quarters in the rout.

Pope led the way for Charlo with 16 points, while Brown added 10. Ludeman and Berkram each notched seven points, Hoyt six and Blevins five as the Lady Vikings cruised to a 2-0 weekend. Danika Stipe, Sierra Brown and Aspen Runkel each put in two points for Charlo.

On Thursday, Dec. 15, the Lady Vikings will face St. Regis before heading to St. Ignatius for a Lake County matchup with the Mission Lady Bulldogs on Saturday, Dec. 17.
