Calvin Nicholas "Nick" Elliott, 82 died surrounded by his family Dec. 13, 2011. Mr. Elliott was born Dec. 12, 1929, in Sioux City, Iowa, the only child of Harry and Marie Elliott.

He attended Sioux City public schools and graduated from Central High School in 1948. He attended the University of South Dakota where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.

Nick married Roberta Reinking in 1950. They have four children: Cyndie, Skip, Dan and Pete. He worked for the Pack River Lumber Company and retired as the Sales Manager at Spokane Lumber Company. Nick was an avid hunter, fisherman and member of the Newman Lake Remote Control Airplane Club. Nick and Roberta enjoyed 24 years of retirement at Lake Coeur d'Alene.

Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife; his daughter, Cyndie (Phil) Osloond; sons: Skip, Dan (Toni) and Pete (Michelle); six grandchildren: Nick and Jane, Dan and Samantha, Heidi and Max; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
