Ed M. Ford, 86, of Post Falls, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at home. He was born May 5, 1925, in Warner, Okla., to Andrew and Mary Ford.
On Jan. 11, 1947, Ed married Henryetta Southern in Mena, Ark. He worked for Inland Empire Paper in Spokane and also for Standard Oil gas station in Post Falls.
Ed is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Martha Ford of Madisonville, Tenn., Larry and Betty Ford of Post Falls, Dale Reynolds of Spirit Lake; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Eddie Seigle of Post Falls, and Vicky Mattern of Susanville, Calif. Other survivors include brother Toby and Eva Ford; brother-in-law Haskell Southern of Gunbarrel, Texas; sisters-in-law, Rachael Black of Sacramento, Calif., and Ravenna Keller of Paradise, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Ed is preceded in death by his wife, Henryetta; sisters Francis Southern and Bulamay Jones; and son in-law Mark Mattern.

Visitation will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, with funeral services to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
