Kootenai County Sheriff

Thursday

9:30 a.m.: Damages of $300 were reportedly done to the water pipe plumbing at a residence in the 2900 block of West Midway Avenue near Post Falls. Electronic furnace parts, ceiling lights and copper wiring with a total value of about $600 were reported stolen from the home.

6:43 p.m.: Garden tools and fence posts with a total value of $900 were reported stolen from the garage and field at a residence in the 5700 block of North Colfax Street in Dalton Gardens.

Matthew M. McDevitt v. Phillip J. Sand, seeking damages in excess of $10,000.

John R. O'Malley Jr., 64, Coeur d'Alene: 180 days in jail with 144 days suspended, credit for time served and two years probation for battery and consuming an open container of an alcoholic beverage in a public place within the city limits.

John T. Ensminger, 41, Coeur d'Alene: 30 days in jail with credit for time served and work release for probation violation.
