MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake police arrested two motel room occupants after subjects reportedly fired two shots through a window before fleeing.

At about 3:30 a.m. Saturday police responded to a call of gunshots at the Sunland Inn on East Third Avenue, finding two shots had been fired through the front window of a room, according to a police report made available on Tuesday.

The shooting suspects fled the scene, possibly in a Honda Accord, but police were unable to locate anyone in the area. Officers do not know what type of weapon was used in the shooting at this time, according to Moses Lake Police Capt. Dave Ruffin.

Three subjects were reportedly inside the room when the shots were fired, although nobody was injured. Occupants of the room were later determined to be in illegal possession of a .38 caliber revolver.

Nathan J. Pruneda Martinez, 25, Moses Lake, was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, Ruffin said.

Ramiro A. Perez, 24, Othello was booked on a warrant for escape from community custody.

It is unknown if the shooting incident is gang related, Ruffin said, and police have so far received little cooperation from either the reporting party or victims.
