Coeur d'Alene Cellars' Alder Ridge Vineyard Syrah (2007) recently received the 55th spot in the Top 100 Northwest Wines for 2011.

The Coeur d'Alene Cellars' 2007 Alder Ridge Vineyard Syrah reviewed by Paul Gregutt was awarded 93 Points in the Wine Enthusiast.

The watercolor painting which graces the bottle, by artist Sarah Gates, is an abstract titled "wood."

"This abstract expresses the rhythmic, fluid qualities and grainy textures of an old stump," according to a press release.

Gregutt's Top 100 list includes Washington wines made from wineries in Idaho, Washington and Oregon. There are more than 700 wineries in Washington alone.
