Students of month named at Royal

ROYAL CITY - Royal High School counselor Marge Edwards has announced the school's students of the month for December.
The Students of the Month were chosen by Royal High staff from a list of nominations. All Students of the Month will be recognized at an awards gala at the end of the year.
The senior Student of the Month for December is Gladys Meza, daughter of Joaquin and Elfega Meza of Royal City. The junior Student of the Month is Gisela Badillo, daughter of Gregorio and Rosalba Badillo of Royal City. The sophomore Student of the Month is Adan Acevedo, son of Adan and Rosa Maria Acevedo of Royal City. The freshman Student of the Month is Sarah Clouse, daughter of Trevis and Monica Clouse of Royal City.

Four Basin students honored at EOU
LA GRANDE, Ore. — Four Basin students were among 635 named to the Eastern Oregon University Dean’s List for the 2025 winter term, according to an announcement from the university. Qualifying students achieve and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing a minimum of 12 hours of graded coursework for the term. Water gun brings police to Coeur d’Alene High School
Police responded to a Friday morning report of a student outside Coeur d’Alene High School with what appeared to be a firearm, which turned out to be a water gun.
