The Zubeck girls from Alaska enjoyed a day of hunting with their parents and uncle. They loved watching all the birds come and then running out to retrieve the geese.
Mike Meseberg and Dick Hampton, of Royal City, show some nice Walleye that they later had for dinner. The fishing off the MarDon Dock is still very good, call 1-800-416-2736 for a current fish report.
MARDON RESORT - Water fowlers that enjoy field hunting are overjoyed with some single digit temperatures. It was 8 degrees on Thursday. All we need now is about six inches of snow to really improve the field hunting.
You must be an overnight guest to fish off the dock at night, or you can purchase a day pass in the MarDon Store for $7 for adults and $4 for kids and seniors.

February ends with fish a plenty at MarDon

The beginning of the northern flights of waterfowl, lunker walleye on Potholes Reservoir, and especially Goose Hunting in fields are all activities outdoor enthusiasts enjoy this time of year. The water level on Potholes Reservoir has risen almost 8 feet since the lowest level of 2014.
