Four arrested after shooting

ADAMS COUNTY - Four Royal City individuals with known gang affiliations were arrested on Dec. 14 in connection with shots fired in the 2200 block of West Cunningham Road the same day.

Adams County Sheriff's deputies responded to the call at about noon. They were looking for four suspects who fled the scene of the shooting in a Maroon Dodge SUV.

The suspects were stopped by deputies on Highway 17 near Moses  Lake. There were three juvenile males ages 14, 16 and 17 and one 18-year-old adult male, Yajairo Calzada.

All four were  questioned by deputies and booked. Calzada was taken to the Adams County Jail in Ritzville. The three juveniles were taken to the Martin Hall juvenile facility.

A search of the SUV resulted in no firearms. However items taken recently in Royal City burglaries were found. Those were turned over to Royal City police.
