The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information leading to the arrest of William James Plaut Wilde on felony warrants.
Wilde has two felony warrants for his arrest, and he is suspected of committing a residential burglary in the Vinal Lake/Yaak area in November.
During the investigation, it appeared that Wilde may have occupied the victim’s residence in the Yaak sometime before being discovered. Wilde is most likely residing in the Yaak area. Wilde is 39 years old, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, weighing 172 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
Persons with information to the whereabouts of Wilde are asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 293-4112, Ext. 0.
In another case, the Sheriff’s Department in the fall two years ago, conducted an investigation involving the distribution of dangerous drugs in the Eureka area.
Detectives executed multiple controlled buys of marijuana, cocaine and Oxycontin.
During this investigation, detectives learned one of the suspects, Travis Plantiko, had an outstanding felony warrant from another jurisdiction.
Plantiko was arrested in November 2009 on the felony warrant.
As a result of the investigation, arrest warrants were issued from the County Attorney’s Office in September for Jack Bickel, Benjamin Bailey, Graham Cook and Cody Hall for criminal distribution of dangerous drugs.
Bickel, Bailey and Hall were arrested shortly after the arrest warrants were issued. The Sheriff’s Department still is attempting to locate Graham Cook on a felony warrant for criminal distribution of dangerous drugs.
